Mrs. Martinez' class learned about voting today. They received their registration cards to vote and then voted on candy.🍬



This week at the TS Library, the 1st graders heard the story, Pete the Cat: 5️⃣Little 🎃 by James Dean. They learned the song and motions for 5️⃣ Little 🎃, and did a STEM build to go along with it.




🎭 📚Our 5th grade students performed a play that went along with their reading unit from last week. This unit focused on theme and characters so students created their own puppets to portray a story to their classmates.




📣Students of the month📣 These students show tenacity, determination, and the ability to adapt! They reflect on setbacks and make changes to learn, grow, and succeed.


Garden Club met yesterday after school and planted 🌷 and 🧄! They also worked on trimming the moon tree.




🦖🦴For the past two weeks, the students in Mrs.Vanort's PreK class have been learning about fossils. Today, they were paleontologists and dug up dino bones.




STANGS Club will be selling bag tags at morning assembly on Tuesday and Wednesday. They are $1 each or 6 for $5.


Each student made their own campfire for Mrs. Martinez's first glad class and then did their 🔦reading under their 🏕️

This is our end of the 1st quarter celebration for all the reading and learning our littles have done.





Our 🎨teacher, Mrs. Permenter has done it again!! Another project that is a student favorite!!! Mrs. Thornton's 5th grade class started painting their pumpkins today! These are made using only toilet paper and water! 😱🎃
